   Laxman Pareek

 

 

Laxman Pareek is a famous name in Bikaner’s singer in folk songs as well as Bhajans. He was born on 22nd January 1953 in the family of late Shri Shankar lal. He is singing folk songs since last 30 years in All India Radio (AIR) as 'B grade' singer. He has a big collection of bhajans and folk songs. His father was also a classical singer so from childhood he practiced

for it and as time spends, he became famous, as goddess Saraswati's hand is on his head. His guru is Mr. Giriraji Goswami. Music is deeply routed in his soul. As every man have a woman behind his success. In his word "My wife gives me full support in this work that is why I am on this position. Music is my life."
As every Bikaneri knows that Hindi months Sawan and Bhadwa are the month of Jagran. Jagran of Baba Ramdev, he gives his performance each night at different places. These days goes very busy. He has rewarded many time in this field.
He has his own Orchestra Party named 'Chirmi Kala Sansthan'. Which is basically devoted to Rajasthani folk songs, its moto is to promote Rajsthani music. He gives orchestra program in marriage parties or any occasional parties where folk songs are most wanted by people and he has prepared some old Hindi songs also for it.  
He has given program in almost all state of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Raipur, Asam, Ahmedabad, Surat, Orissa and may more places.
Near About 15 cassettes released, which are successfully running in music market.
